Sunday, January 16 at 17:30 at the hall of the Museum of the Great Rivers Flumini Rovigo took an interesting and attended meeting with Luciano Gallo (former regional secretary of the FIOM-CGIL) and Dino Greek (director of Liberation) organized by the Federation of the Left. Moderator of the debate was Nicholas Chiarini, journalist of Corriere Veneto. The underlying theme of the event was the double attack on the rights that is being carried out on one side by the Fiat Mirafiori blackmail and other government funds with the indiscriminate felling of publishing. But the FIOM will not be hunting, but will react with force and the first appointment is the general strike on January 28.
Chiarini then requested the release of the NEWCO Dino Greek FIAT by Confindustria, and asked why it is important to defend the collective bargaining system.
Greek stressed that the worker is isolated extremely weak and unable to contract the performance of their work. In fact, the companies want to return to individual bargaining in this way because their bargaining power is enormous. But in the meantime, just when the conflict becomes ever harder on all sides we are told that the class struggle does not exist. Greek wonders then why not just when we have a very high technological level sophisticated the business world tries to impose such harsh working conditions.
Luciano Gallo A Chiarini then asked why the defense of rights is indicated by different parties as an act that goes against conservative modernity, and if it is possible to arrive at a unit union through a common feeling.
Gallo has now informed the audience of how they arrive at FIOM letters from all over Italy, even from Rosarno, calling on the workers and the union to hold out because they are aware that if you defeat the most combative and organized the world of work, working conditions worsen for all. For this he concluded by inviting everyone to promote and support the fight carried out by the Liberation Manifesto and all the other titles are not aligned with the powers that be.
